Board of Directors

The Seattle Classical Christian School Board of Directors serves as the entity steering the long-term development of the school. Currently, this role includes establishing educational philosophies, directing financial decisions, managing human resources activities, and more. The Board also provides oversight to the headmaster. Board members are volunteers, represent a mix of parents of students and non-parents, and bring to the board a wide array of professional experience and personal perspectives. It is the Board’s constant prayer that their decisions would be wise, unified, and led by the Holy Spirit.

Having used many elements of the classical Christian method in training her own children, she is excited to use her acquired skills and understanding to help the next generation grow strong in the Lord as they expand their minds and acquire knowledge. Leslie was born and raised in Seattle, studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington, and has a heart to see families in this city grow in their love of learning as their hearts grow in the Gospel. She has also enjoyed leading Bible studies, tutoring, teaching Sunday school, participating in missions, supporting missionaries, teaching parents and mentoring women. Leslie has been volunteering at SCCS since it opened its doors and she loves each and every child there: watching them grow, encouraging them and getting to know them as individuals. She is delighted to serve at SCCS because she believes it is one of the best ways to bless the next generation.
