Position Summary
Seattle Classical Christian School seeks a Physical Education Teacher to serve students in grades 7–12. This teacher will cultivate habits of physical stewardship, discipline, perseverance, and teamwork through engaging physical education classes in Logic School (7th–8th grade) and fitness-focused exercise courses in Rhetoric School (9th–12th grade). This teacher will have 6 hours of student contact time and 6 hours of prep time weekly. It’s a 0.3 FTE teaching position and pay is commensurate with experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Teach Physical Education courses for Logic School students (grades 7–8).
Teach fitness and exercise-based courses for Rhetoric School students (grades 9–12), emphasizing lifelong health, strength, conditioning, and personal fitness.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that develop physical skills, fitness, and healthy habits.
Foster a positive, orderly, and encouraging classroom environment.
Maintain student records and communicate effectively with parents and school leadership as needed.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
Model Christian character and support the mission and culture of Seattle Classical Christian School.
Qualifications
Demonstrated commitment to Christian faith and the mission of classical Christian education.
Experience teaching physical education, coaching, fitness instruction, or a related field.
Ability to build positive relationships with students while maintaining clear expectations and accountability.
Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
Supervisor
Reports to the Dean of Academics.

Position Summary
Seattle Classical Christian School seeks a full-time Pre-Kindergarten Aide to support our Pre-K classroom and help cultivate a joyful, orderly, and wonder-filled learning environment for young children. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and desires to grow into a future Pre-K teaching role.
We view this position as an apprenticeship in early childhood education, providing hands-on experience and mentorship for individuals interested in becoming lead Pre-K teachers. Experience with Montessori education is preferred, though we also welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow in their understanding of Montessori methods and early childhood development.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist the Lead Pre-K Teacher in the daily instruction and care of students.
Help maintain a peaceful, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
Support students in developing independence, self-regulation, and a love of learning.
Prepare classroom materials and learning activities as directed.
Supervise students during classroom, outdoor, lunch, and transition times.
Foster warm and positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Participate in training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
A love for young children and a desire to support their growth and flourishing.
Experience working with children in educational, childcare, church, or similar settings preferred.
Experience with Montessori education or a demonstrated desire to learn Montessori principles.
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Commitment to the mission and values of classical Christian education.
Apprenticeship Opportunity
This role is designed as a developmental pathway toward future leadership in early childhood education. The successful candidate will receive ongoing mentorship and practical experience intended to prepare them for potential advancement into a Lead Pre-K Teacher role.
