TUITION & AID

What tuition covers and how we support families.

Over the course of a child’s education, thousands of ordinary moments quietly shape who they become. Where and with whom those years are spent matters deeply.

Seattle Classical Christian School is a different kind of school. We cultivate well-trained minds, virtuous hearts, and courageous faith in God.

We believe education is not a product but a relationship. It is a partnership of trust between families and teachers, shaped by a shared vision for who students are becoming. As you consider your child’s education, the most important questions are not only what they will learn, but who will help form them and in what kind of community they will grow.

Our tuition reflects the true cost of providing a rich, Christ-centered classical education in Seattle, including small class sizes, dedicated and highly qualified teachers, and a full program of formation in academics, character, and faith.

Nearly half of our students receive some form of need-based financial aid, and SCCS provided more than $880,000 in support to families in the 2025–26 school year. We encourage families to connect with us to learn more about how we help families say “yes” to life-changing education.

INCLUSIVE TUITION: WHAT IT MEANS

We know that private education represents a meaningful financial commitment, and that it can be challenging to understand total cost when expenses are spread across multiple categories. Our inclusive tuition model clearly sets the cost of your child’s education for the year. This means that many costs that might otherwise vary are included and become fixed and predictable for families. You are able to commit to one price and, if you choose the monthly payment plan, spread that cost evenly over the year.

  • At SCCS, tuition covers core educational expenses, including textbooks, art fees, field trips, technology, and required school supplies. Tuition also includes one yearbook per family.

  • A handful of items are better suited to remain excluded, given their personal nature. Families will still be responsible for:

    • purchasing “personal supply items” such as a backpack and water bottle.

    • uniform items for daily and dress use (don’t forget to take advantage of our uniform exchange each year!)

    • optional all-school family events (Mariner’s Game, Skate Night)

    • Upper School Capstone Trips

    • extracurricular clubs

Note that the enrollment fee is not included as part of the educational cost within tuition. An enrollment fee of $200 per student ($500 maximum per family) will be charged to your FACTs account with enrollment secure the student’s spot.

  • Seattle Classical Christian School tuition and fees payment may be paid monthly over 12 months (from July to June) or in full in July. We partner with a FACTS Management Company to help us manage our tuition payment program. Please use this link to manage your FACTS account and complete tasks like making a payment, viewing your payment schedule, updating your account, and more.

 Our Commitment to Accessibility

We want SCCS to be accessible to every family that desires this kind of education. Cost should not be the reason a family who feels called to this community decides not to enroll.

Seattle Classical Christian School offers robust, needs-based financial aid for families across a wide range of circumstances. Financial aid is assessed through FACTS and is designed to make an SCCS education possible for families who would not otherwise be able to afford it.

We encourage any family who believes they may need financial support to apply. Applying for financial aid is a normal part of the enrollment process, and our team is committed to walking thoughtfully and personally with you through that process. You can learn more and start an application for financial aid HERE.

SCCS has been everything I was praying it would be and more! I am so very thankful we found our way here.

Helping Families Say Yes To Life-Changing Education

SCCS’s financial aid program exists to close the gap between necessary financial sacrifices and the accessibility to a life-changing education. Financial Aid is available for Kindergarten through 12th grade students (please note that Pre-K is not eligible for Financial Aid).

In an effort to determine financial aid eligibility in a consistent, fair manner, we work with FACTS to gather all the information needed.  Final awards are determined based on eligibility and the budget available for financial aid for accepted students in Kindergarten and above.   We would invite those in need of financial aid to apply as early as possible. There is an application fee of $45.

You may start the Financial Aid process before you begin a student application. The financial aid application should be submitted with, or before, the student application. This allows the Financial Aid process to be complete when an enrollment invitation is extended, so that each family can make an informed, timely decision.

Please note that you will not receive information about a financial aid award without completing the admissions process, including an application, family interview, and student assessment.

Questions that may arise with the financial aid application are best directed to FACTS via their toll-free help line which is dedicated to family support: 866.441.4637
